Alexander von Humboldt Professorship

The Alexander von Humboldt Professorship is the highest endowed international award for research in Germany.

Professor F. Ömer Ilday, a laser development expert, is to open up new fields of research in materials science and establish a research centre.

As part of his selection for a Humboldt Professorship in 2009, Jürgen Margraf took over the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Ruhr University in the summer semester 2010.
