Astrophysicist Dr. Elisa Pueschel works at the Institute of Astronomy at Ruhr University Bochum.
Elisa Pueschel completed her dissertation with a PhD in 2010 at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA, until 2013 and then moved to University College Dublin, Ireland, with a grant from the Irish Research Council and a Marie Curie Fellowship from the European Union. From 2017 to 2022, she headed a Helmholtz Young Investigator Group at the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) in Zeuthen, where she remained a permanent researcher until her move to Ruhr University Bochum in August 2023.
