Prof. Dr. Nils Jansen heads the Chair of Artificial Intelligence and Formal Methods at Ruhr-Universität.
Nils Jansen studied and completed his doctorate in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University. After a year in a post-doctoral position in Aachen, he moved to the University of Texas in Austin, USA, in 2016. in 2017, he obtained a tenure-track position at Radboud University Nijmegen as Assistant Professor and was Associate Professor there from 2022. Since November 2023, he has held the Chair of Artificial Intelligence and Formal Methods at Ruhr University.
