Anneliese Maier Research Award

With this award, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation promotes the internationalisation of humanities and social sciences in Germany.

Under the umbrella of the Anneliese Maier Research Award, Professor Francis Jeffry Pelletier, University of Alberta, Edmonton, and Simon Fraser University, has been collaborating with Professor Tibor Kiss from the Linguistics Department at the RUB Faculty of Philology from 2013 to 2018. His research subject is the countability of nouns.

Good to know

The cooperation award is intended to promote the internationalisation of the humanities and social sciences in Germany and is awarded annually to outstanding overseas scientists from all areas of the humanities and social sciences. The award winners establish research partnerships they choose themselves with expert colleagues in Germany for a period of up to five years. An award is valued at 250,000 euros.
