Lorenzo Grassi is a postdoctoral researcher in symmetric cryptography at cluster of excellence CASA.

Lorenzo Grassi is a postdoctoral researcher in symmetric cryptography at Ruhr University Bochum, and consultant at Ponos technology.

He studied mathematics at the University of Milano (Italy), and completed his PhD at Graz University of Technology (Austria) in April 2019. After almost one year Postdoc in Technische Universität Graz, he first moved to Radboud University Nijmegen (the Netherlands) in 2020, and then to Ruhr University Bochum in 2023, funded by the CASA Jump.Start Program for Postdocs.

Cryptography for Future Applications

The symmetric encryption of data is ubiquitous. Making it fit for the future is the aim of the project by Lorenzo Grassi.
