University Bonus Schemes for Researchers

Ruhr University supports researchers who have significantly contributed to improving the university’s visibility in research and education on a global level.

Researchers are eligible for bonuses if they acquire their first DFG project or are invited to submit full proposals as designated spokespersons of DFG collaborative projects.

Research group bonus: invitation to submit a full proposal for the establishment of a research group
GRK bonus: invitation to submit a full proposal for the establishment of a Research Training Group
Novice bonus: first proposal accepted by the German Research Foundation
SFB bonus: invitation to submit a full proposal for the establishment of a Collaborative Research Centre
