With its 21 faculties, Ruhr University Bochum unites a broad range of subjects from the natural and engineering sciences, life sciences and medicine to the humanities and social sciences on one compact campus. This proximity facilitates interdisciplinary cooperation, which is the basis for the scientific success of our researchers. Many of their projects contribute to the sustainability goals of the United Nations and thus help to shape social change.
